Victorian Campdrafts

Last updated 9 August 2021

Victoria will enter a state wide lockdown for seven days from 8:00PM Thursday 5 August.

  • A tiered approach has been developed to assess public events based on their scale, complexity and associated risk factors. Please note the following tier classifications:
    • Tier 1 – events with 5000 or more attendees, or between 1000 to 5000 attendees and involving 6 or more public health risk factors. Tier 1 events must submit a COVID Safe Event Plan to the Victorian Government for public health review/approval and this must be submitted 8-10 weeks ahead of the event to ensure timely review and approval.
    • Tier 2 – events with 1000 to 5000 attendees involving no more than 5 public health risk factors or events with less than 1000 attendees that involves at least 4 public health risk factors. Tier 2 events must submit a COVID Safe Event Plan to the Victorian Government for public health review/approval and this must be submitted 4-6 weeks ahead of the event to ensure timely review and approval.
    • Tier 3 – events with less than 1000 attendees (risk factors do not apply). Tier 3 events must submit a COVID Safe Event Plan to the Victorian Government for public health review/approval and this must be submitted 1 week ahead of the event to ensure timely review and approval.
  • All events on private land need to apply for a public event (tile 3 has link).
