About the CLF Young Ambassador Quest

ACA are proud to announce that we will be putting forward a nominee to represent us in the Classic Ladies Foundation’s (CLF) 2023 Young Ambassador Quest (YAQ) Competition! This is our third year selecting an ACA nominee to represent us in this event and we couldn’t be prouder to be part of this initiative.

Our previous nominees were Sam Kerr (2021 Nominee) and Alex Hindle (2022 Nominee). Both ladies had a wonderful time participating in the Quest.

Our Association’s Awards Promotions & Committee Liaison Team have a strong passion for the Quest and the values & beliefs underpinning it. They recently provided our publication, the ACA News, with a quote regarding next year’s event and it is included below.

‘ACA are once again looking for their nominee for the 2023 Classic Ladies Foundation Young Ambassador Quest. If you are a young campdrafting woman between the ages of eighteen to twenty five, who would like to get involved in this fantastic quest; you will not regret nominating. Not only is it a great opportunity to work alongside the talented Classic Ladies Foundation team, raising both money and awareness for the chosen charities; there are also some fantastic prizes to be won. Flying the flag for ACA and being mentored by the amazing strong CLF Team, is an incredible opportunity. Not only will you make lifetime connections, you will learn skills that set a great foundation in being involved in the progression of the sport of campdrafting,’ the ACA Awards, Promotions and Committee Liaison Sub Committee said.

Like last year, there will be many opportunities for CLF entrants to be involved in the Quest before the winner announcements are made in early 2023. These activities include conducting raffles, assisting the CLF and representing the CLF at the Warwick Gold Cup, among others. The main section of the Quest will be conducted early next year at the Nutrien Classic Sale and Campdraft event in Tamworth.

CLF Team Member, Cristine Jones, said that the entrants’ schedules will be action packed at Tamworth.

‘Each year the Quest and what we are able to offer our entrants, continues to grow. This year we are hoping to squeeze a mini clinic into the entrant’s busy Nutrien Schedule which already includes, selling raffle tickets, working on the CLF Stand, meet and greet, CLF mentoring session, YAQ social get togethers, flag carrying for Nutrien finals, etcetera,’ Christine said.

ACA strongly encourages all of our female members, aged between eighteen and twenty five (in the year the Quest is held) to consider nominating to be our 2023 Nominee.

This is an extremely unmissable opportunity: To be able to represent your association in such a visionary initiative, that positively helps others & makes a difference to the world, all while assisting in ensuring the longevity of our great sport of campdrafting – Why would you not wish to be part of this?
